In your blog about the benefits of having a diverse PLN, you strives for diversity and inclusivity so that more voices can be heard. As we know, there are many voices in a room, but the more people who hear them, the more likely they are to actually get their message across. You help to increase awareness of the diversity of your PLN by re-tweeting posts about topics that feel other people in your PLN may not be educated on. This helps not only bring awareness to certain topics, but it allows these voices who often times may be muted to be heard. You leveraged diversity in your campaign in an attempt for all individuals to feel supported in the experiences and what they want to share about them. People have important experiences to share, but without the opportunity to share them, they will never be heard. You made it a point to make an effort to have those voices be hear and those stories to be shared in an attempt to bring light to topics that may be overlooked had you not ensured that inclusivity and diversity were a part of her PLN.
